Brian Tracy Prioritizing Technique

We are now going to be implementing a priority setting technique that Brian Tracy describes in his book, Eat That Frog. You may have already read his book. I’ve read it too, no worries. But I want you to examine your master list and label each of the items either A, B, C, D, E following these categories. You then place an A, B, C, D or E before each of the items on your list before you begin the first task. An “A” item is defined as something that is very important. This is something you must do. There would be serious consequences if this task was not completed. If you have more than one A task (and consider it carefully) then list them A1, A2 and so on. “Shoulds” versus “Musts” A “B” item is defined as a task that you should do. It only has mild consequences if not completed. These are the tadpoles of your work life. It may mean that someone will be unhappy or inconvenienced if you don’t do it, however it is nowhere near as important as an A task. The rule is that you should never do a B task if there is an A task left undone. A “C” task is defined as something that would be nice to do but for which there are no consequences at all. A “D” task is one that can be delegated to someone else. The rule is that you should delegate everything that anyone else can do, so you can free up your time for your “A” tasks that only you...

Creating High Performance Coaches – Melanie Mitro & Ashley Mahaffey

Creating High Performance Coaches – Melanie Mitro & Ashley Mahaffey 1) Welcome Letter (customized from back office). Make video on the 3 different kinds of coaches & add link into letter. (Discount Challenger, Challenger interested in learning about the business, Business-builder – wants to know what to do to reach goals) 2) Follow Back Office document “Getting a Coach Started Right” 3) GSR Call and give them assignment – Coach Training Videos & send me proof they completed. After they do this, they can join Coach Basics Group. 4) Customize Coach Basics Group (can edit Word doc from Back Office). Don’t reinvent the wheel, but give it some pizazz & my own personality. Make Youtubes for the group, tell what I’m doing in my business & what the results were, so they can duplicate. I am going to add the Go Pro Diamond assignments as “extra credit” for those who want to build immediately. Zoom call same time each week. Customize agenda, recognition of coach strengths & victories, encourage group discussion. Address previous week’s content. “Our calls are every Thursday at 9. Here is the link.” Do NOT give options to see what works for everyone. Can record. Every Thursday morning – post reminder and “post questions below & I will address on the call tonight”. First Call – go over expectations. Second Call – they’re overwhelmed – go over expectations & stuff from 1st call again. 5) Goals for first month: Getting product paid for Earning Success Starters Achieving Emerald Rank Gaining confidence as a Coach – that fuels the first three! 6) Action Items for New Coach...

Passing on Belief, A Responsibility

Not long after I began blogging back in 2008, one of my readers suggested that I keep to my fitness related posts and stay clear of those relating to the business. He or she insisted that those interested in Beachbody’s multi-level marketing (mlm) opportunity were clearly in the minority. S/he added that by talking about the business I was putting off my readers.  The last thing I want to be perceived as is an icky network-marketer, so I heeded to the advice by keeping my business related posts to a bare minimum. Fast forward 3 or 4 years since that comment was made. As one of the elite coaches in a network of over 75,000 people, I see it as part of my mission to help others see just what is possible as a Beachbody coach. I know I have something valuable to share and I am going to do so unapologetically. I receive a lot of messages from coaches asking for tips, advice, and mentorship. With only 24 hours in a day, my one on one work time has to be devoted to my team and my customers. But by blogging about coaching and sharing what I know, I hope to help other coaches seeking guidance. Yesterday I co-hosted a “Super Saturday” event at Beachbody Headquarters in Santa Monica, California with my friend and elite coach, Nick Husin. These quarterly events offer coaches an opportunity to come together to celebrate the previous quarter’s achievements & happenings as well as to find out what we as coaches can look forward to over the next 90 days. From personal...

Beachbody Fitness Coach | It’s About Who You Become

A few months ago I did this self development training where I had to walk down a line of people with my eyes closed while the workshop participants, who I had gotten to know intimately, whispered their appreciation for me and the gifts that I had bestowed upon them in my ear. I cried my way along the line, as each person told me how I loved I was, how they saw my beautiful soul, how I was kind, how I was a beautiful woman both inside and out. I felt worthy of that praise and could feel the words were uttered from the heart. Last night as I made my way to the other side of the room at the Beachbody Leadership Welcome Reception, I stopped to talk with coaches that I both knew and didn’t know. One Beachbody fitness coach I didn’t know stopped to tell me how much what I had done in the business mattered to them.  Another Beachbody fitness coach told me how I had been a pioneer and thanked me for all I had done for the company. A few shared with me how I had inspired them or thanked me for how real I am.  I just truly felt the love. The Beachbody coaches I have known for years, some in my team the Empire, some not, just were so open and loving toward me. The feeling was mutual. The feeling in both cases was humbling and incredibly touching. In the past, I don’t know if I would have been able to receive such love and praise. Maybe people had been telling me these kind...

Beachbody Coach Training | 10 Tips for Success

My seven years as a Beachbody coach have afforded me the opportunity to gain a bird’s eye view of what makes a successful coach, as well as what makes for an unsuccessful one. Whether you’re a coach looking to be successful in the business or you’re considering becoming a coach, this tip sheet will guide you in your journey. Use it as a checklist. If you can say that you do each of these things, you will be much more likely to succeed. If you are honest with yourself and admit that not all of these apply to you, this is good news! It simply means you have an area or areas to work on.   Are you ready? Here are your 10 Tips for Success as a Beachbody Coach:   1. Coaches who succeed take 100% responsibility for their success or failure. This means that they don’t wait for their sponsor to make them successful. They don’t blame others (including their coaches, their spouses, or customers) or the lack Beachbody coach training. If they are to succeed, successful coaches understand that it’s up to them, despite any life obstacles that may come their way.   2. Coaches who succeed are engaged. They engage with their team in private groups, by listening to team calls, by actively participating in Beachbody coach training, and by connecting with other positive-minded members. They also engage with the Team Beachbody network by listening to the weekly National Wake Up Call, by participating in events such as Super Saturday or Team Cup Challenges. Unsuccessful coaches go at it alone; thus they feel alone. If you...
